I AM A NATIVE OF THIS MY WORLD

I am a native of this my world
I am a native born from this time I remember
freedom is the song I sing
from freedom that’s deep within me

for I have loved before many times
before love there was nothing but pain
before love there was only pain and hate
but somehow I survive and find my way

through the pains of life there are many roads
some will find there way, some will find not at all
for without the touch of love, there is nothing but sand and ash
for without the touch of life, there is nothing left to say

I am native of this my world
I am a native born from this time I remember

I live to only love

VIVA LIFE

In thoughts I have dreamt
inner visions can I dream
that all is not for nothing
and that something has a cause
turn your eyes to the third world
post your letters of regret
we are here as children fighting
polluting minds that can not see
every soul has its right
to build a garden of Eden
in the world that must be
clear air, clean water
work for one and all
access to the power of learning
access to wisdom and health
oh hear our battle cries
we have bleed for centuries
over food over power
the power is on the net
share our knowledge through learning
how to live in peace
neither of us have all the right answer
is it blowing in clouds of hope
our hope is to share our bread
and learn what has come back
build a world on dreams
democracy! viva life!!!!
